Jackie Strovers

Jacki Strovers

After living most of her life in central Iowa, Jacki Strovers decided to relocate to western Arkansas. She moved in April 2011 with her friends and her three dogs.
She graduated from Kirkwood College and became a certified technician in 1995. She worked at a seven doctor practice in Iowa with a special interest in dentistry before moving to Arkansas. She enjoys showing her Borzois and spending time with her rescue dog.

Jana

Jana Woods

Jana is the daughter of a former veterinarian with a brother who is also a veterinarian. She has been around animals of all kinds all of her life and has found a home at South County Animal Hospital. She has 7 dogs and 1 cat.

Wendy graduated from Waldron High School where she was a member of the FFA and Art Club. She joined the South County team in April 2011. She enjoys spending time with her horse and several other types of animals on her farm.

Brittany graduated from Greenwood High School in May 2011. She is currently a freshman at the University of Arkansas Fort Smith majoring in Biology. Brittany plans on transferring to OSU for vet school. She was very involved in FFA throughout high school showing hogs, judging agronomy, flonculture and livestock. Brittany has a pet pig (Bendie), a dog (Sadie), a kitten (Riley) and a new puppy named Ember

Chris is native born to Arkansas and raised in Lavaca, Arkansas. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, scuba diving and Native American History, Culture and Music. Chris has 5 dogs and 2 horses. He is currently planning to attend college with a career in Wildlife Restoration

Leslie became a member of South County Animal Hospital team in 2011. She has been a veterinary technician for the past 12 years and brings a vast knowledge base with her. She has a special interest in veterinary dentistry. She is passionate about nursing care and treats our client's pets like they are her own.
Leslie is owned by 6 Shiba Inus (Kyoshi, Toukon, Elle, Sea, Peach and Scout), one Afghan Hound (HB) and a tabby cat (Speedbump). In her spare time she is active in AKC conformation where she shows her Shibas and Afghan.
